The organic 2021 Chianti Classico Le Corti reveals lots of authentic fruit with easily recognizable tones of cherry, blackberry and blue flower. This is 95% Sangiovese with a small addition of Colorino, aged in cement vats for 12 months. There are pretty earthy sensations that add a grounding effect to the lifted and very lively bouquet. This is a balanced red wine with 80,000 bottles released.

Tasted at the estate, the Villa Le Corti Principe Corsini 2020 Chianti Classico Le Corti reflects the warmth of the vintage with generous aromas and more textural heft. The wine remains vertical and bright, however, with an immediate delivery of dried fruit, baked plum, strawberry and dried herb. It closes with a delicate mouthfeel. It is aged in cement vats and annual production is between 60,000 to 100,000 bottles.

This certified organic and vegan wine brings us the generous elegance and dark fruit of San Casciano Val di Pesa. The 2019 Chianti Classico Le Corti is a terrific value. This classic vintage shows bright raspberry fruit, crushed river stone and blue flower. The wine sees some full cluster fermentation, and this breaks the skins down slowly without extreme temperatures. The fruit delivers clarity, and the tannins softly melt away.

What we have here is an earthy but pleasantly simple Sangiovese (with 5% Colorino) that delivers the obligitory dark fruit and ripe cherry. You'll find blue flowers and potting soil within the 2016 Chianti Classico Le Corti, with plenty of the heft you're looking for in a Chianti Classico. Cook up your favorite meat ragù for this pretty Tuscan red. The wine only sees contact with cement. An ample 80,000 bottles were made, and you are rewarded with terrific value.

The 2015 Chianti Classico Le Corti (95% Sangiovese and 5% Colorino) is a terrific, lightly textured red wine that will pair beautifully with your favorite home-cooked pasta recipes. This is a polished and streamlined wine with a bright bouquet composed of wild berries, violets and wet earth. There is tangy acidity on the close to cut through cream or cheese toppings. The Corsini family hits all the high notes with this near-term, easy-drinking red. You get great value here (with 80,000 bottles made), and that's why I put the little plus sign by my score.
