Organically grown and sourced from the Dundee Hills AVA, this is from the lighter vintage of 2007. It’s balanced and ripe enough, but feels a little thin. As you might expect, the Dundee Hills bottling from Rex Hill shows plenty of blackberry and black cherry fruit, good concentration, and layers of smoke and toast and coffee grounds.
