The 2016 Weissburgunder Henkenberg GG offers ripe and floral-scented melon fruit on the nose. Pure and salty on the palate, this tightly structured Pinot Blanc reveals a greenish finish with unripe fruit in the end. However, the finish is quite intense and long but never charming or stimulating, at least not now, but I am skeptical this will change over the years. Tasted in May 2020.
