However, it never sees oak, so that added density comes from the heat and dryness of the 2017 vintage (the wine records a 14% alcoholic content). From a moderately temperate vintage, the 2013 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Tralivio is loaded with personality and intensity. The bouquet is very distinct with tropical fruit tones of passion fruit and dried mango followed by orange peel, blanched almond, dried herbs and yellow rose. This is a lovely white wine and I highly recommend it to those who feel an authentic taste of Italy. The mouthfeel is thickly consistent and smoothly textured.
