They have added one of the classics of Northern Italy to their portfolio, a 2009 Arneis from the Russian River. Shockingly good, I wouldn’t confuse it with an Arneis from Bruno Giacosa, but this is still textbook stuff. Loads of citrus blossom and green apple skin with some additional fruit undertones are present in this dry, crisp, medium-bodied wine, which is super food-friendly and a delight to drink now and over the next year. Seghesio planted these vines in Russian River in 1992. Among the great Italian heritage families in Northern California (and there are many of those), Seghesio continues to set a high standard for quality and attractive value.Tel.
