The 2005 Mas d’Aranyo Reserva is a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carinena aged in French and American oak for 13 months. Spice box, cedar, black cherry and blackberry aromas inform the nose of this round, savory effort. In the glass it reveals good depth and concentration, but not much in the way of complexity. It is meant for drinking over the next 4-5 years.
