From a vineyard in the Omaka Valley, the 2014 Raupo Creek Pinot Noir spent 18 months in 13% new French oak. It's medium ruby in hue, showing toasty, nutty accents to its ripe cherry fruit. This medium-bodied, moderately complex wine looks to be relatively early-maturing and is already drinking well, the silky tannins adding a pleasant dimension on the palate and finish.

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2013 Raupo Creek Pinot Noir is beautifully scented of red cherries, pomegranate and Provence herbs with underlying forest floor, mushroom and earth hints. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly fruited with great intensity and a solid backbone of grainy tannins, finishing long and refreshing.

Forged from estate grown fruit off the Raupo Creek Vineyard, the 2009 Raupo Creek Pinot Noir, was naturally fermented and aged for 15 months in French oak barriques, 30% new. Ruby-purple in color, it is intensely scented of black cherries and black raspberries over hints of violets, tar and smoked duck. Medium-full bodied, it is generously fruited with concentrated berry flavors offset by crisp acidity and grainy tannins. The finish is long and earthy.
