The bouquet of the 2007 The Lodge Chardonnay is quite attractive with touches of dried pineapple, mango and greengage. The palate is balanced, fresh acidity with subtle citrus notes, touches of apricot and Satsuma. Nice length and poise. Understated but well crafted and growing all the time in the glass. Complex and engaging. Drink now. No known American importer.

An attractive nose of grapefruit, a touch of melted butter and lime. The palate is very peach, very rounded with apricots and passion fruit. Lacks a little acidity but an attractive, simple peardrop-tinged on the finish. Fine. Drink now. Tasted January 2008.
