It is hard to understand this offering, which tastes more like an $8 to $10 red wine. A vague, muted bouquet is the correct prelude to this muffled Shiraz. It exhibits a dark plum/ruby color, medium body, noticeable vanilla/oak, and easygoing, friendly red and black fruit flavors, but there is little weight, and the finish is superficial as well as short. This is a picnic-styled red that is preposterously over-priced. It will last for 1-2 years.Tel. (707) 433-6981
