The crisp, citrusy 2018 Four O'Clock Chardonnay is unoaked and, to help it retain freshness, doesn't undergo malolactic fermentation. It's medium-bodied and zippy, with bright flavors of lemon, lime, underripe pears and pineapple. Tart and refreshing on the finish, it should drink well for another year or so.

Opening with a nose of Golden Delicious apples and fresh pears with underlying citrus zest and allspice hints, the light to medium-bodied 2012 Four O’Clock Chardonnay offers just enough straightforward, citrus flavors in the mouth with a finish of moderate persistence.
