The 2010 Gewurztraminer Sanct-Valentin is a beautiful wine laced with mango, passion fruit, ginger, cloves and a host of other varietal aromas and flavors. This mid-weight, focused Gewurztraminer impresses for its length and fine overall balance. It is absolutely delicious today, yet should continue to drink well for a handful of years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015. I found many delicious wines in this lineup from St. Michael Eppan. The house is best known for their top of the line Sanct-Valentin wines that emphasize textural softness.
