A dry style with just a touch of residual sugar and 13.5% alcohol, the 2009 Riesling has medium intense aromas of lemon juice, chalk, lime zest and coriander seed. The palate contributes high acidity with nice steely / citrusy raciness going into the long finish. Approachable now, this is a style that has some capacity to develop and should cellar to 2017+. Husband and wife team Steve and Monique Lubiana are at the helm of this small, family run operation just north of Hobart. The estate has been organically managed for 7-8 years and is in the process of converting to biodynamics. Average annual production is around 10,000 cases.No known US importer.
