Mid-gold in color, with a richly honeyed nose, slightly caramel like, showing ultraripe yellow fruits, spice and earthy tuber notes. Earthiness and sweet ripeness follow through on the palate, but it tastes quite fresh. Loose knit, but simple and easy drinking. Finishes slightly short with a resinous kick.——W.E.(3/1/2011)—— 87
