The 2005 Roble was aged for 6 months in 25% new French and American oak. It is dark ruby/purple-colored with aromas of cedar, violets, spice box, mineral, and blackberry. Medium-bodied, the wine has plenty of spicy black fruits, decent depth, and 2-3 years of aging potential. The finish is slightly compressed. Drink it through 2017.
