The 2011 Camino is a blend of Garnacha, Syrah, Tempranillo and Cabernet from granite soils with a straightforward, fruit-driven nose with aromas of pomegranate, ripe cherries and raspberries. The palate is juicy, with some chunky tannins that call for food and moderate acidity. Drink now-2016. No known American importer.

The 2009 Camino is a blend of Garnacha, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo; however, I feel that the grape varieties cancel each other out on the nose. The palate offers simple fresh strawberry, Morello and white pepper flavours that lack a little definition but offer good length and lots of (commercial) flavour to drink over the short term. The 2007 Camino is a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, and Tempranillo aged in 70% new French oak for 12 months. Fragrant spice box, violets, cedar, and assorted black fruits compose the nose of this ripe, structured, nicely proportioned effort. It will evolve for 2-3 years and drink well for 10. Terra Remota is a 50 acre estate with 45 dedicated to red grapes and 5 to white grapes. The grapes are organically farmed and the winery is organically certified.
