Quite dark (perhaps from the small additions of Petit Verdot and Merlot), and scented with a burnt edge, this Tempranillo is slow to show much fruit. Tart raspberry notes seem to quickly resolve into a charred, slightly bitter finish.——P.G.(3/1/2010)—— 84
