Following in the footsteps of Te Koko and the like, the 2016 Mugwi Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is barrel fermented with indigenous yeasts. It's quite clean, with rich notes of roasted cashew and grilled pineapple balanced by grapefruit accents. This medium to full-bodied wine is silky in feel, with a long, dry finish.
