The 2015 Crearo Conca d'Oro is a blend of 60% Corvina, 15% Oseleta and 25% Cabernet Franc, planted in thick clay soils. The grapes see a brief one month of appassimento, with 15 days of fermentation and up to two years in oak. This is a very ripe, dark and chewy red wine to pair with hearty meat dishes or aged cheese. There is a lot of ripeness and lingering sweetness here.
