Aged in a combination of stainless steel and wood, the 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Mary's Single Vineyard shows hints of pencil shavings on the nose, but the emphasis is on the fruit—lemon and lime, with hints of pea tendrils and riper notes of fig and melon. It's medium-bodied, zesty and fresh, with a lingering, grapefruity finish.

A wonderful Sauvignon Blanc, bone dry and tartly crisp, with mouthwatering flavors of lemons, limes, grapefruits, minerals, vanilla and peppery spices. Entirely unoaked, it’s a fine cocktail sipper, and great with savory little appetizers. ——S.H.(10/1/2010)—— 88
