The vines that produced the 2016 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard were planted in 1945 in an ancient creek bed, and their alluvial composition distinguishes them from the other limestone-based sites Turley works within Paso Robles. Wafting from the glass with notes of blackberries, ripe cherries and loamy soil, the wine is full-bodied, velvety and charming, with a deep core of succulent fruit, supple tannins and mouthwatering acids, concluding with a long finish. Of all of Turley's 2016 Zinfandels, this might be the most immediately seductive.
