The 2008 Salice Salentino Riserva Vereto is a pure expression of Negroamaro that is aged in botte grande for up to eight months. This is a dry and sophisticated red wine that shows a thinner appearance compared to its peers and a more delicate bouquet. Those aromas recall sandalwood, Indian spice, pressed rose, black pepper and cherry cola. The wine also shows tertiary tones of licorice and balsam herb. The tannins are finely polished and dry.

The 2006 Salice Salentino Riserva Vereto is a beautifully plump, juicy red. Sweet herbs, flowers, licorice and wild cherries come together in this generous, mid-weight Salice Salentino.
