This wine does have a ¨Classic¨ Bordeaux nose of cassis, forest floor, chocolate and cedar, but from there on out it′s all South African innovation. Notes of lemon, sage and olive add to the aromas, while the palate is intense and well-rounded, balancing olive with cassis, plum with wood, leather with intense berry. There’s very little to take issue with here. It’s an intense, extracted mouth-filling beauty with leather, black plum and licorice aromas.
