The Velenosi 2016 Offida Pecorino Rêve offers a fresh and transparent expression of the very promising Pecorino grape. This interpretation benefits from the warm-climate influences that characterize the Adriatic Coast. The quality of fruit is supple and soft, with citrus and orchard fruit, saffron and crushed stone, making it ideal for oysters. The wine is fermented in stainless steel, and afterward, half the wine ages in barrique and the other half continues its aging in steel vats. Some 15,000 bottles were made.
