Actually Petit Verdot-based, this wine is darker and deeper than Viader’s ’02 regular Cabernet blend. It has flavors of plums, boysenberries, cocoa and blackberries. It’s dry, but lush in fruit. One wishes it were firmer in tannins and acids, but there’s no denying its lusciousness. ——S.H.(11/1/2005)—— 90
