Exuberant and packed with lots of sweet, rich fruit, the Villa Raiano 2015 Taurasi stands aside for its concentration and deep layering. At the wine's core, you'll find generous tones of blackberry and dark plum; however, the wine's bouquet is nicely amplified by spice and integrated toast from 12 months of barrel aging. This is a 13,000-bottle production.

This is a plump and ripe expression of Aglianico with many pretty fruit details surrounded by spice, smoke and cured leather or tobacco. Villa Raiano has done well to capture the spirit and accessibility of this difficult vintage, giving the 2014 Taurasi a sophisticated twist nonetheless. Some 13,000 bottles were made.
