The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Terroir spent 16 months in 35% new French oak. Aromas of pain grille, earthy minerals, Asian spices, violets, and black currants set the stage for a lean but focused, elegant wine with good grip, balance, and length. It is likely to evolve for 1-2 years and will deliver prime drinking from 2013 to 2019. The Vina Agustinos wines are from the cool region of Bio Bio located 500 km south of Santiago and 50 km from the coast with a significant influence from the sea.Importer: JW Deutsch & Son, White Plains, NY; tel.
