The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Intriga spent 15 months in 50% new French and American oak. Dark ruby-colored, it has an expressive bouquet of wood smoke, cedar, tobacco, black currant and blackberry. It is more elegantly styled than the Ninquen Mountain Vineyard Cabernet with a smooth palate-feel and attractive flavors. However, it is in need of greater depth and has a clipped finish.Montgras produces wine under several labels (Montgras, Amaral, Intigra, and Ninquen) and a range of prices.Importer: Palm Bay International, Boca Raton, FL; tel.
