The 2009 Spinyback Riesling is a little youthfully subdued with a moderate intensity of lemon zest and grapefruit aromas over jasmine and lime leaf. Light to medium bodied and dry, it gives a good concentration of zesty citrus flavors in the mouth with crisp acidity and a long finish. Drink it now to 2015+. (New Zeland) Lemon, mineral and peach on the nose. This has lively citrus and crunchy orchard fruit with a fine, persistent spine of acidity. Alc: 12.5%.

The 2008 Spinyback Riesling is intensely scented of lime cordial, mandarin peel and clover honey with a hint of coriander seed. Fairly dry and medium bodied, it has a good backbone of crisp acid cutting through the ripe Riesling flavors, finishing long. Drinking nicely now, it should keep to 2014+.
