Decayed leaves, touches of black coffee, a little sous-bois and smoke are found On the nose of the 2007 Waimea Estate Pinot Noir. Medium-bodied on the palate, gritty, rustic tannins, dried leaves with a touch of white pepper, game with an off-dry briary, earthy finish. A little rustic but full of charm. Drink now-2012. No known American importer.
