Made in the modern way of very ripe fruit and lots of oak, this Chardonnay certainly delivers plenty of pineapple jam, tangerine, Meyer lemon tart, vanilla and buttered toast flavors. About as oaky as a Chardonnay can get without crossing the line, although some will think it has. Shows strong flavors of buttered toast, smoky caramel and creme brulee, with underlying fruit notes of grilled pineapples and pear preserves.
