The 2008 Chardonnay is well constructed, yet the fruit seems just a shade lean and under-ripe to qualify for a higher rating. Possessing aromas of lime leaf and orange peel rind, the medium-bodied palate is very taut and crisp giving a long, green apple finish. Drink this one now and over the next 3 to 4 years.Under the Constellation Wines Australia umbrella, Yarra Burn is not currently exported to the US.
