Here's a new, single-vineyard expression from Antonelli San Marco that hit the shelves in December 2020. An inaugural release of 1,335 bottles, the 2015 Montefalco Sagrantino Molino dell'Attone is an organic wine that shows dark cherry fruit, Spanish cedar and baking spice. The tannins are grippy, tight and help to dry out the palate after a creamy bite of lasagna with béchamel sauce.

The 2012 Montefalco Sagrantino is a darkly layered and powerful wine. This is a bold and firmly structured wine that is shaped by a warm and long growing season. The bouquet is dense and syrupy with blackberry preserves, dried cherry, dried plum and prune. The mouthfeel is rich with a slightly gritty or granular texture.
