The medium to dark ruby-colored, licorice-scented 1999 Corton-Greves (domaine) is a firm, stony, and fresh, blackberry-packed, light to medium-bodied wine. It is tightly wound, backward, and unyielding, but appears to have the density of fruit and structure for cellaring. It is concentrated, deep, and possesses a long, pure finish.
