For my palate, Lail’s Georgia is California’s most complex and multi-dimensional Sauvignon Blanc. The 2003 Georgia Sauvignon Blanc is not up to the level of the 2002, but it’s still a beauty with a distinctive minerality, hints of lemon oil, honeyed grapefruit and melons. Drink this medium-bodied, impressive white over the next two or so years. Tel. (707) 968-9900; Fax (707) 968-9911
