The 2015 Macon Uchizy les Maranches has a clean and precise bouquet, quite chalky and well defined, a more neutral take on Macon that expresses more of the terroir rather than fruit. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, not quite as detailed as I was expecting after the aromatics but with satisfying weight on the spicy, quite sappy finish.
