Of the six Pinot Noirs I tasted, the least impressive is the 2003 Pinot Noir South Slope. Shrill, tart acids poke through an otherwise attractive raspberry, cherry, earthy personality. The flavors and aromas are there, but the acids appear a bit disjointed. Time will tell if it meshes together.
