The 2014 Falanghina del Sannio Serrocielo is a single-vineyard expression of the grape variety that was once consumed in ancient Rome. In this modern rendition, Serrocielo is aged on the lees for six months to add aromatic intensity and textural richness. You definitely get both in this wine. Citrus, crushed stone, apricot and dried herbs play supporting roles. In the mouth, the wine is crisp, clean and tonic.
