Antonio Fattori has produced a beautiful wine in this vintage. The 2013 Soave Motto Piane is a plump and generous expression with summer peach, honeydew melon, apricot and blanched almond. The wine shows rich density and texture, but remains crisp, fragrant and bright at the same time. This is one of the highest expressions of a Soave. After harvest, grapes are dried on straw mats for one month and once the fruit is pressed, it is fermented in stainless steel and aged in oak. This is a well-priced Italian white wine.

This floral Soave offers a subtle mix of pippin apple, verbena, stone and cream, with mouthwatering acidity and a spicy underpinning. Drink now through 2017. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 1,100 cases made, 40 cases imported.??–AN??Region: Italy / Soave Select to Add
