The white wines begin with the 2008 Altosur Sauvignon Blanc. Light straw-colored, it has a pleasing bouquet of citrus and fresh herbs. Vibrant on the palate, it has good concentration and a refreshing finish. Drink it over the next 12-18 months. Finca Sophenia produces all of its wines from estate fruit with the exception of the Torrontes.
