Seductive, spice-laced aromas of red berries and fresh flowers are complicated by mineral and anise nuances; smells like a ripe pinot noir. Bright cherry and raspberry flavors show very good clarity and pick up smoke and rose pastille nuances with aeration. Becomes sweeter and deeper on the long, sappy finish, which is shaped by velvety tannins that meld smoothly with the wine's fruit.
