Made with organic fruit, the Palagetto 2019 Vernaccia di San Gimignano draws its fruit from 15- to 20-year-old vines and sees an easy fermentation in stainless steel. You get pear, apple and quince with some dusty mineral and a touch of cumin spice at the edges. This zippy, fresh and lightweight wine would make a great companion to fried chickpea falafel with mint and yogurt sauce. Production is an ample 100,000 bottles.
