The 2008 Leah Pinot Noir spends 11 months in French barrique, 25% new and is bottled unfiltered. Medium ruby in color, it displays a moderate intensity of red cherry, earth and forest floor notes with touches of truffles, beets and some cinnamon stick. The medium bodied palate leads with the cherry fruit supported by a low to medium level of fine tannins and crisp acid lingering into the long finish. Drink it now to 2014.
