This is a big, ripe wine, and fairly tannic too, although the tannins are soft, ripe and sweet. Where N&N’s Dragonfly bottling from St. Helena is all immediate gratification, this is more firmly structured, less flashy. But it’s soft in acidity, and not a candidate for aging. Drink now and through 2006. ——S.H.(12/1/2005)—— 88
