The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Wild Boar Vineyard, which sees more American oak than any of the other cuvees (which are all mostly French oak with an occasional Hungarian oak barrel thrown in), is showing this region’s tannin, rusticity, and rather bold, aggressive, masculine style. The wine has potential but needs some time to resolve the tannins. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2020. Tel. (707) 963-5711; Fax (707) 963-7518
