Produced by a well-known Spanish wine personality, Carlos Falco, the Marques de Grinon's 1997 Emeritus exhibits a dark ruby/purple color as well as ripe aromas of blackberries, cassis, and vanillin. A touch of herbs makes an appearance in the flavors of this fleshy, supple-textured effort. The acidity, tannin, and wood are all well-integrated. While not complex, this is a juicy, succulent wine to enjoy over the next 4-5 years.Importer: International Cellars, Chantilly, VA
