Approachable with a smooth balance of oak and fruit, this wine has a cherry and floral character with hints of cinnamon. The grapes are grown in a scenic spot--at the foot of Mt. Garfield in Grand Valley, Colorado, in the midst of a brugeoning wine country. It's not complex by any means--neither on the nose or on the palate--nor is it unique. But with a good piece of steak it would do nicely.——S.K.(2/1/2007)—— 83
