The 1998 Brunello di Montalcino Sugarile is a dark garnet with ruby highlights. The nose is warm and complex with much caramel and chocolate in addition to the plum liqueur and wild cherries. This wine possesses a sizeable palate that is concentrated, dense, and chewy in texture yet with high quality tannins. Superior in dimension and length, it has power to burn. Drink: 2006-2018.
