Serendipity is the name of Maryhill’s most expensive wine, a Bordeaux blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. Complex, intertwined scents of berry, herb, mint, spice and leather open up in the mouth into an interesting wine that shows a lot of different flavors. With just a little more bottle age the finish should resolve; at the moment the herbal character turns vegetal, and there are some vinegary acids.——P.G.(11/1/2008)—— 87
