The 2003 Seleccion Especial is a blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Merlot. Aged for 18 months in used French barriques, it is dense ruby in color with a nose of red berries, black cherry, and hints of spice and vanilla.
