The most important red wine in the line, the 2001 Magno Megonio, is from a native grape, Magliocco, which Librandi has been instrumental in recovering. A deep ruby in color, ripe, plummy, and ample on the nose with abundant red fruit and cinnamon, its sizeable palate, shapely, dense, and textured, has the concentration and focus to last until 2015.
